Public Safety & Community Trust
Keeping District 2 safe is a top priority. Alex supports investing in our police officers, firefighters and emergency responders by providing them with the training, tools and resources they need to serve professionally and earn the community’s trust.
Supports the development of a state-of-the-art public safety training center for better preparedness and accountability
Champions community policing, de-escalation training and policies to reduce emergency response times
Brings personal experience as a victim of crime and a father’s perspective to the table—committed to practical safety solutions that also build community trust
Housing Affordability
Alex believes that no one should be pushed out of the city they call home. He supports equitable development and smart policies that preserve affordable housing while encouraging responsible growth.
Backs community land trusts and inclusionary zoning
Will work to ensure affordable units are part of every major development
Public Health
From federal funding cuts to neighborhood clinics, Atlanta’s public health system is strained. Alex will fight to restore and expand health services for all residents.

Transportation & Connectivity
A world-class city deserves a world-class transit system. Alex supports expanding MARTA, improving sidewalks and boosting connectivity between neighborhoods.
Supports the Beltline and upcoming bus rapid transit projects
Believes transit not just as a convenience—but as a tool for economic mobility and equity
Education & Community Investment
While the City Council doesn’t directly run public schools, Alex knows from experience—both as a teacher’s son and a father—that education is the bedrock of a thriving city.
Will use his platform to advocate for better pay and conditions for Atlanta’s teachers
Supports stronger partnerships between the City Council, school board and local nonprofits to expand after-school programs and job training
A passionate advocate for special education, inspired by his daughter’s Autism diagnosis

Alex knows the hustle. He’s been a small business owner and has served both the state and the University System of Georgia. He’ll bring that perspective to supporting small businesses and job creation.
